Management Software and Lean Organization: “Monuments” or agents of change? |
|
Many people
who drive companies in the Lean Organization define software products as
“monuments”.
At times, management systems are truly bottlenecks
that actually bog down company processes, causing a lack of the flexibility and
immediacy required by lean processes. This problem is keenly perceived both by
managers and by leading software houses. For the former, we have prepared a
questionnaire to gather different opinions. For the latter, we offer the
results of this questionnaire and we make available to them a “window” in our
Club to show case histories of occasions in which their software truly
supported a lean transformation.
